Synopsis:

While working in the woods, the woodcarver Geppetto finds a log that wold be perfect for a table leg. He is shocked when the log speaks to him and announces that it wants to made into a boy. He crafts the log into a puppet, who immediately becomes an incredibly mischievous child. Through many misadventures, Pinocchio learns about life through the consequences of his own actions. While the harsh realities of the world punish Pinocchio for being a rather horrible child, he is not deterred on his quest to become a real boy. Based on Carlo Collodi’s original novel, Pinocchio: An Opera in Two Acts is a dark comedy that will entertain a wide audience.
